In early December of 2023, I received my first copy of Random House's Find-Your-Fate Transformers #4, written by "Ann Matthews". I immediately tried to Google the author, and could not find an exact match.
I noticed that Ann M. Martin's middle name is Matthews, and found evidence that she adopted her only known pseudonym (Adele Read) the year after this was published, using it only once for the competing series known as Choose Your Own Adventure by Bantham.
Naturally, I theorized that Ann Matthews could be an earlier pseudonym, and I reached out to her on facebook. On the 18th of December, 2023, I received confirmation from her that she did indeed write this issue.
